List of goods prohibited for sending in international postal items

military equipment, firearms and their ammunition, melee weapons and other items specially designed for attack and defense (knives, knuckledusters, stilettos, canisters with paralytic liquid, etc.)

objects that constitute the national, historical or cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people, defined in accordance with the laws of Ukraine

permits for the right to carry weapons, employment records, military tickets

compressed gases, aerosols, explosive, flammable, toxic, oxidizing, aggressive or other dangerous substances (deodorants, ammunition, fireworks, fuel, gasoline, bleaches, detergents, perfumes, pesticides, glues)

counterfeit goods or any goods exported in violation of intellectual property rights

goods that have signs of a commercial batch (a significant number of similar attachments)

agricultural products and food products (including canned ones)

narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues

cigarettes, cigars and other tobacco products, smoking devices of all types

objects of obscene and immoral content

alcoholic drinks and other products containing alcohol

bank cards, money, products made of gold, silver and precious metals

food products of animal origin

medicines, vitamins and vitamin complexes, nutritional supplements

seeds and planting material

lighters, solid flammable substances (matches, incense, etc.)

batteries/accumulators and devices containing batteries (for air delivery to the USA, Canada, Armenia and Azerbaijan)

magnets

radioactive substances

In Europe, it is allowed to send food products of long-term storage in factory packaging (except for products of animal origin), while the total weight of different types of food products cannot exceed 10 kg in one IPI.

In Canada, it is allowed to send candies, chocolate, tea and coffee only in factory packaging with a total weight of up to 2 kg in one IPI.

In the USA, it is prohibited to send any food products.

In Georgia, it is allowed to transport electronic devices or equipment with built-in lithium-ion batteries. It is allowed to transport several devices or equipment with batteries in one IPI. Non-rechargeable batteries (AA, AAA, 9V, etc.) and devices containing such batteries are not allowed.

What goods cannot be sent to Georgia?

The following items are prohibited for shipment:

Perfumes/samplers, aerosols, and products with dispensers.
Corrosive and flammable substances such as paints, glues, chemicals, flammable resins, solvents, liquids, compressed air, products containing gases, alcohols, acids, and varnishes.

Restrictions on batteries:

Electronic devices or equipment with built-in lithium-ion batteries are allowed for transportation. However, transporting batteries separately is prohibited. Devices or equipment with batteries must be packed in a separate Inner Express Unit (IEU). Multiple devices or equipment with batteries can be transported in one TIR (Transport Internationaux Routiers) shipment. Non-rechargeable batteries (e.g., AA, AAA, 9V, etc.) and devices containing such batteries are not allowed for transportation.

Which goods cannot be shipped to Asian countries?

List of goods prohibited for shipment to Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan

Prohibited for sending:

Perfumes/samplers, aerosols, products with dispensers.
Accumulators, lithium batteries, power banks.
Caustic and flammable substances (paints, glues, chemicals, flammable resins, solvents, liquids, compressed air, products containing any gases, alcohols, acids, varnishes).

Battery restrictions:

Electronic devices or equipment with built-in lithium-ion batteries are allowed to be transported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. It is prohibited to transport batteries separately. Devices or equipment with batteries must be packed in a separate IPI. It is allowed to transport several devices or equipment with batteries in one IPI, but it is not allowed to add other items (clothing, personal goods, products, etc.). Transporting non-rechargeable batteries (AA, AAA, 9V, etc.), as well as devices containing such batteries is not allowed.
